Matt Mauzy, President
Matt has more than 2 decades of experience in
the heating and air conditioning business. He
has specialized in residential installations for
the past 14 years. Prior to owning Mauzy, he
served in project management and technical
positions at leading companies including
Santiago Heating and Air Conditioning and
University Mechanical. Over the years, Matt has
overseen projects of every description from
thousands of residential clients to commercial
installations for Blockbuster Video, Little
Caesars Pizza, The University of California, San
Diego, and for the US Coast Guard Base in San
Diego. Matt was a member of the Sheet
Metal Workers Local 206 union for 8 years.
Gary Mauzy, Residential & Commercial
Foreman
Gary brings more than 4 decades of experience
in the heating and air conditioning business.
Prior to joining Mauzy
Heating, Gary served as Project Manager for
Kinney Heating & Air Conditioning; Project
Manager for Southwest Heating & Air
Conditioning; and Lead Manager for R.J. Lanthier
Heating and Air Conditioning.
In addition to his vast experience with
residential heating and air, Gary has also been
involved in outstanding commercial projects
including: Sadsop nuclear plant in Walla Walla,
Washington, Moss Landing Marine Laboratory,
Consolidated Support Facility at Travis Air
Force Base, and Biop Medical at the Naval
Training Center in San Diego. Gary was a
member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 206
union for more than 22 years.
Justin Dahmer, Office & Operations Manager
Justin Dahmer is a key manager at Mauzy
Heating. He handles incoming service
requests, manages all of our scheduling, and is
in charge of customer service. Justin also
manages the company’s accounts payable and
accounts receivable, and the myriad other
details involved in running a high profile HVAC
business.
